SCABIOSA STELLATA · PINCUSHION FLOWER

Pale icy lilac scabiosa flowers, beautiful in their own right, but Stellata Scabiosa are usually grown for their intriguing textural seed heads. Its round papery balls made up of their shuttlecock shaped seeds are great both fresh & dried (if drying care needs to be take on when to harvest, too early and they shrivel and too late they shatter).

Also called Starflower + Starball.
