Article: Summer Open Day + Anemone & Seed Sale

Summer Open Day + Anemone & Seed Sale

UPDATE

Murphy's law we have an Alert Level change at the last possible moment before the Open Day!  But just a quick update that it is still all go - but we've extended the Open Day hours to 11am–2pm so we can spread out everyone to avoid too much of a hold -up in the shed shop in particular. There is at least ample space in the field to social distance.

We have reserved some of all the seeds & bulbs for our online sale, so please do not feel the need to rush to get there right at the start, we have plenty more up our sleeves for the online sale!

We will have our XR codes (and sign-in sheets) for you when you get here, and please maintain social distances at all times. And please bear with us as we may occasionally have to manage the flow of people to ensure everyone is safe - but if we can avoid the rush at the start it should all go smoothly!

Sunday 28 February · 11am–2pm

$5 field entry pp - children 12 & under free
276 Tikorangi Road East, Tikorangi

Come wander the new flower field in all its late summer floral oasis glory! Almost all of our new super special dahlias are in full flush, our beautifully scented sweet pea seed crops are still flowering away, and all our usual favourite summer annuals are finally peaking this week! As crazy as the last 12 months have been since we took over the new farm, it's kinda amazing to think the field was just a bare paddock only a year ago!

We'll set up shop in our harvest shed with a special early pre-release of our Hardy Annual Flower Seeds + our coveted Italian Anemone Corms (which finally arrived last week after epic courier delays and dramas!!). We'll also do up fresh & dried flower bunches for sale too so you can take some of the field's immediate beauty home with you (& then grow your own mini floral oasis at home for spring with our seeds & bulbs).

CASH ONLY - after our card failure at our Spring Open Day, we've conceded cash only is the best option for our open days from now on.

Pram friendly - with the luxury of oodles more space at the new farm we've now got sooo much more path room all around the field!

Directions (from New Plymouth/Waitara):

We're about 800m down Tikorangi Road East after turning off Otaraoa Road - down the first driveway on the right after the neighbours little 'Nursery Next' sign on the bankside - blue 276 letterbox.
