Silene uniflora

This was the first silene I ever encountered which was in the existing gardens of one of my parents houses. It's like a mini groundcover version of Silene vulgaris - with very similar pods & flowers.

I'm growing both Compacta & Weißkehlchen to see if/what the difference between them is - one of them might lean more blush but I'm not sure which.

One of my very favourite groundcovers!
