Plant Trials

Selection of plants we're trialling and have spares to share. We haven't grown these out before so don't have any flowers photos just yet.

Malva sylvestris ssp. mauritiana 'Bibor Felho'

It's long past due I grew my first Malva's so I'm excited get to know these plants and  see it's unique deep magenta purple flowers.

Baptisia 'Alba'

Baptisia hate being moved (and don't really love being in a pot, which is probably why they're hard plants to find), so pick your planting spot carefully, as you won't want to move it later on. These plants were started from seed this past autumn, so will likely still take a couple or more years till they flower, or flower well. But they are absolutely worth the patience once they do! Baptisia do die down completely over winter.
