Note, the anemone corms this year are smaller than years past. MPI changed the import rules (which has effectively made it impossible to import the corms from Italy as we usually have done). We have however grown the corms from seeds ourselves this season. This was our first ever attempt to do so, and the corms have mostly ended up being smaller than normal. The only thing it really changes is they might be touch slower right out of the gate, but once they're up and growing they tend to catch up in no time.

One of the most striking and interesting coloured anemones I've ever seen! Every single flower is a unique brushed beauty in varying shades of red & white!

I've found the Mistral series to be slightly less productive than other series - but in the best possible way! I often found other series to be tiresome to keep on top of their constant never ending harvesting and constant deadheading, but the Mistrals were that perfect balance of productive without crossing the line of being unmanageable (unless you were shifting and setting up farms and everything in spring was unmanageable like me last spring :)
