Eryngium - White Glitter

ERYNGIUM PLANUM

Eryngium are a first year flowering perennial, producing long lasting sprays of thistle like mini flowers (not nearly as prickly as actual thistles thankfully!).

Our plants seem to flower at odd times each year but after they've settled in for a year I think they will peak flush late winter, with secondary flushes staggered throughout the rest of the season if harvested & cut back deeply.

White glitter is mostly green turning to an icy pale green as their flowers open. Can be dried, but make sure to harvest before stems are too old to reduce shattering.
