DAUCUS CAROTA · DARA
Shades of chocolatey burgundy through to almost blushy-white coloured lace flower. Technically an ornamental carrot flower, but soo much more glamorous than its heritage suggests! Hands down one of my favourite most productive go-to filler flowers! And the seed pods (I call them Lace Pods) make for interesting textural elements and dry beautifully if you catch them before they're actual seeds.

GROWING
Autumn + early winter plantings are much taller than spring plantings, so make sure you have adequate support (netting/corralling) as those spring winds & rains will make a real mess of things otherwise! Multiple successions throughout the season is advised for continual harvest.
