Boltonia are a perennial producing large frothy airy clouds of mini daisy type flowers in late summer/ autumn.

Please note, we have a minimum plant order of $45 (approx. 5 plants) – you can mix & match any plants to meet the minimum.

Our plant boxes can fit up to 10 plants per box.

Plant orders are shipped on Mondays (& Tuesdays).

elpThey are significantly larger and more productive in their second year, dying back almost fully over winter. Some sort of support would help keep their large branches upright. You can also pinch stems when about knee height to encourage smaller more manageable stems for harvesting.

Boltonia can take a year or so to settle in, but once it's happy plants can get quite big, chest height, and slowly spreading about 50-100cm over a few years.

Being perennial they will die back fully over winter.

Some support may help keep them upright, a quick corral does the trick for us.

If harvesting flower a quick pinch (or presumably a sort of chelsea chop but I've never been game to give it a go) will help produce more smaller stems.
