Plant Type: Hardy Annual

Ideal Location: Full Sun

Spacing: 30cm

Height: 100cm+

Autumn + early winter plantings are much taller than spring plantings, so make sure you have adequate support (netting/corralling) as those spring winds & rains will make a real mess of things otherwise! Multiple successions throughout the season is advised for continual harvest.

Note: like all ammi, be careful when harvesting to not get sap on your skin, as it may cause phytophotodermatitis for some people - like me - I liken it to hyper localised extreme sunburns, which take forever to fully fade! Make sure to wear long sleeves + gloves when harvesting, and avoid harvesting in full sun (which ammi doesn't like at all anyways) - if you do need to sneak a quick harvest in unprepared, make sure you wash your hands & arms thoroughly afterwards!
