I am very excited to see this climbing plant in all its glory next season! The little snippets we've seen this year, has me anticipating walls of its antique creamy strawberry flowers.
Thunbergia are also known as Black Eyed Susan Vine.
From seed it does have the odd purely golden flowered plants, but as each plant reveals itself we have been sifting those out so there (fingers-crossed) a higher chance of these plants being their much more delightfully coloured antique cream & strawberry colours.
Will definitely need something to climb up, fence netting, obelisk (same as anything you'd use to for your sweet peas).
Note Thunbergia is typically an annual in colder regions. We are testing its hardiness over winter this year in North Taranaki (we do get frosts but only light frosts). But if it can overwinter here, it'll be more like a perennial for us, and anywhere with less cold winters.

Our Plant Boxes
We've designed our plant boxes to be as courier proof as physically possible to ensure your plants always arrive in top condition!
To cover the costs of our customs boxes we do however have a minimum plant order of $65 (approx. 7 plants) – you can mix & match any plants or sleeve specials to meet the minimum. (Plant Collection Boxes are however standalone boxes and do not count towards the minimums).
If you want to make the most of the shipping, our plant boxes can fit up to 10 plants per box, and for the most cost effective per plant shipping we can tape two boxes together (which fits 20 plants total).
Plant orders are shipped on Mondays (& Tuesdays).
