Note that Sahara is a mix, so it will be a surprise as to which specific colour each plant is.

Our Plant Boxes

We've designed our plant boxes to be as courier proof as physically possible to ensure your plants always arrive in top condition!

To cover the costs of our customs boxes we do however have a minimum plant order of $65 (approx. 7 plants) – you can mix & match any plants or sleeve specials to meet the minimum. (Plant Collection Boxes are however standalone boxes and do not count towards the minimums).

If you want to make the most of the shipping, our plant boxes can fit up to 10 plants per box, and for the most cost effective per plant shipping we can tape two boxes together (which fits 20 plants total).

Plant orders are shipped on Mondays (& Tuesdays).

Rudbeckia hirta

Plant Type: Short Lived Perennial

Ideal Location: Full Sun

Spacing: 30-35cm

Height: 40cm+

Rudbeckia hate wet feet, so make sure to plant them in a very well draining spot. We have found Rudbeckia to act more like Short Lived Perennials in our mild Taranaki climate coming back for a few years before they run out of steam - but they may behave more like Annuals in others.
