Ranunculus - Rosa Striato

Another new Italian Striato (picottee) to add to my growing collection. Rosa Striato was a definite standout from our trials last season.

I love all the striatos, they are early flowering, but can sometimes be smaller flowers (from their first seed year at least, they're always on another whole level in their second season from corms) but Rosa Striato was noticeably chunkier than other striatos right from the get go.

It is similar-ish to Hot Pink in colour, but with it's edging, it is sooo much easier to capture it's beauty in photos.

We've also found all the striato varieties are also some of the best corm/tuber producers (in a viability sense, they may still be small but they come back to life consistently better than some of the later flowering other varieties).
