PAPAVER NUDICAULE - COLIBRI ROSA CHIARO PASTELLO
Pale nude peach giant poppy!
Colibri poppies are Italian bred, supersized Iceland Poppies (Papaver nudicaule). As their flowers are larger they don't produce as many stems per plant as regular sized Iceland Poppies, but they absolutely make up for it with the largest, most unbelievable sized flowers in the prettiest colours!
If harvesting for cut-flowers, Colibri's need to be harvested a touch later than regular poppies 'split bud' stage, they pop open post-harvest more reliably if you wait a little longer until their pods have fully come off from the stem base.

*Surprisingly Pastello is winning the germination compared to other Colibri's this year (about 86%) but we do still recommend that if you'd like a certain specific number of plants to double sow and order accordingly.
