One of my favourite textural plants. The dark stemmed airy spires of pink flowers turning to tiny red seed pods are just perfect to add a little sparkle to bouquets and your garden.

I especially love this Limon variety for it's striking golden foliage, and it's stems are even taller and larger than the standard straight species (and interestingly, I haven't had the Limon self seed unlike the straight species which can be a little prolific at seeding).

Jewels of Opar die back quite dramatically overwinter, but they do come back in the spring. They are frost tender, so early or late frosts will damage their foliage, but they do recover quickly.

Jewels of Opar are tender, so may not survive winters in colder regions.

Our Plant Boxes

We've designed our plant boxes to be as courier proof as physically possible to ensure your plants always arrive in top condition!

To cover the costs of our customs boxes we do however have a minimum plant order of $65 (approx. 7 plants) – you can mix & match any plants or sleeve specials to meet the minimum. (Plant Collection Boxes are however standalone boxes and do not count towards the minimums).

If you want to make the most of the shipping, our plant boxes can fit up to 10 plants per box, and for the most cost effective per plant shipping we can tape two boxes together (which fits 20 plants total).

Plant orders are shipped on Mondays (& Tuesdays).
