Particularly interesting textured annual - reminiscent of euphorbia flowers. They can be quite bright golden green in flower, but if you can just hold off harvesting for a few weeks, until they start setting seed, their colour softens to the most glorious soft autumn shades!

Bupleurum resents root disturbance, so sow direct or transplant very quickly and carefully (soil blocks are fantastic for transplanting things that prefer to be direct sown). One cut wonder - aka harvest the whole plant come harvest, so successions are necessary to prolong their harvest season.
