One of my absolute favourite grasses! Fluffy soft seed heads reminiscent of bunny tails - amazing fresh but invaluable dried!

Easiest harvested whole plants at time - with multiple successions advised if you want a longer fresh harvest season as they do no grow back from deep clear-cut harvests.

Our Plant Boxes

We've designed our plant boxes to be as courier proof as physically possible to ensure your plants always arrive in top condition!

To cover the costs of our customs boxes we do however have a minimum plant order of $65 (approx. 7 plants) – you can mix & match any plants or sleeve specials to meet the minimum. (Plant Collection Boxes are however standalone boxes and do not count towards the minimums).

If you want to make the most of the shipping, our plant boxes can fit up to 10 plants per box, and for the most cost effective per plant shipping we can tape two boxes together (which fits 20 plants total).

Plant orders are shipped on Mondays (& Tuesdays).

For the biggest and best bunny tails, sow/plant early so they can overwinter. It may be sensitive to harder frosts, but we have had it survive completely unphased through our mild North Taranaki frosts as well as our more decent side of a mountain frosts in Stratford. Our overwintered plants are always next level compared to our spring sowings.
