After just under 6 weeks overseas, I was actually excited to head back home, leaving summer behind to get straight into these winter wedding flowers for Lucy & Reuben. They were honestly the dream first wedding clients possibly imaginable.
As I'm currently between fields, it's winter & myself only arriving back in the country days before their wedding, I had to order–in the flower basics whilst I was overseas (somewhere in Slovenia I think). I added some last minute touches of 'specialness' from Bloom Brokers. The foliage was roadside foraged from in & around Taumarunui, with the chilean guava foliage + one single echinacea head being the only harvests from my barren neglected field.
While I was away at Tallulah Rose's I discovered that I love making buttonholes, so this wedding was a real treat with additional buttonholes for the parents & grandparents. So much fun!
