Amaranthus - Hopi Red Dye

AMARANTHUS CRUENTUS

A surprise find from this year's amaranthus trials. I thought I had all my red/burgundy amaranthus needs sorted with my go-to Red Spike, however Hopi Red Dye very quickly won me over, with it's much more delicate, smaller and graceful curves, its a designer's dream for bouquet and centerpiece work (which other amaranthus are often too chunky until their very last cuts)! Slightly deeper in colour than Red Spike, Hopi Red Dye has definitely earned a place in my regular amaranthus lineup from here on out.

First cuts are perfect for large installation work, and multiple secondary cuts are perfect for bouquets.
